THEY improv began with Todd Rice, our Director. Todd had worked a variety of jobs in the business world including having been employed by the FAA through Martin-Marietta Air Traffic Systems, by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, worked on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, for a hedge fund in Chicago, and was the CEO of a smaller technology company. All the while he trained and performed at The Second City, Improv Olympic and many other prominent theaters. Over the years, he made contacts with great performers all over the country and started bringing some of the best performers together to help raise money for charities, calling the shows Comedy With a Cause. These shows started getting larger and companies started taking an interest.

While initially focused in the US, the group expanded. THEY improv has performed for organizations in Mexico, the Caribbean, most of the major nations in Europe, several locations in Asia and Latin America, all while utilizing local performers as much as possible. Consulting with clients from multi-national companies, our performers have helped some of the largest of organizations to succeed. This includes events throughout Europe.

While we started with shows in London, we added performers in Manchester. We have since used performers in Rome, Florence, Milan, Paris, Oslo, Stockholm, Lisbon, and have sent others through Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and continue to expand. We do concentrate on working in English as there are others operating in other languages and we aren't looking to put them out of business. Our future in Europe looks brighter than ever and we have made arrangements to perform just about anywhere you might want to be throughout the continent.
